Shooting Team For LCHS In Christiana

LCHS Shooting Team attended their second shoot of the season on April 5th at Big Springs Shooting Complex in Christiana Tennessee. 

This particular shoot was an AIM’s competition which members of AIM will enjoy the thrill of shooting registered competition on a level playing field as an individual and as a team.

The purpose of AIM is to provide a safe and positive experience with firearms and registered trapshooting for youth.   

AIM encourages good sportsmanship and personal responsibility through competition while establishing the foundation to make trapshooting a lifelong avocation.

LCHS performed well in both team and individual categories.  There were 12 schools represented with multiple squad teams from each school. 

The competition was very close in the Junior C division with Central Magnet School in 1st place with a 450 team score and Blackman with a 447 2nd place. 

LCHS Varsity #1 (446 team score) & Varsity #2 (444 team score)  placed 3rd and 4th respectively in this division. 

In the Junior D division, Lincoln County took 1st place with a 448 team score,

LCHS Varsity #3 was Runner Up with a 440 and Summertown placed 3rd with 420. 

LCHS JR. Varsity made it to the top 10 while placing 5th in the Junior D division with a 415 team score. 

In the C Class Individual category, Austin Moore’s score of 94 was good enough to take 3rd  place. 

In the D class Individual, Tanner Clark’s 93 took 2nd place.  In Sub-Junior category, Logan Cowheard’s 98 put him in 1st place. 

Logan was also awarded his first 50 straight patch and the following shooters received 25 straight patches, Austin Moore, Tanner Clark, Bobby Benson, Jacob Bradley and Jackson Woods.
